Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our team of litigators.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical malpractice, transportation, long-term care/nursing home defense, and/or premises liability defense litigation. Candidates with other substantive experience in civil litigation are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases through all phases of litigation
- Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and written discovery
- Attend court hearings, conferences and other proceedings
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned written work
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and members of the firm
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Illinois
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience practicing in Cook County and/or the collar counties preferred
- Defense litigation experience preferred
Salary: Commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and bonus opportunity.
