Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer — $150K–$160K + Benefits
The Opportunity
We're working confidentially with a venture-backed company building category-defining technology in a deep-tech space — think advanced engineering, hardware, and AI converging into something genuinely new. The company is in a high-growth phase and needs an Executive Assistant who can match that pace.
This is a high-trust, high-visibility partnership with the CFO — not a conventional admin role. The right person brings structure to ambiguity and stays composed while everything around them moves fast.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage a complex, constantly shifting calendar with sound judgment and zero hand-holding
- Act as a trusted filter and strategic partner for the CFO's time and priorities
- Build the operational scaffolding — processes, systems, structure — that this kind of fast-moving company doesn't have time to build for itself
- Coordinate across engineering, operations, and external stakeholders without dropping details
- Handle sensitive and confidential communications with discretion and emotional intelligence
- Get pulled into special projects and high-priority initiatives as they arise
- Spot problems before they become visible and solve them quietly
- Bring calm and momentum to a high-intensity environment
What You Bring
- Real experience supporting a founder, CFO, or senior executive inside a fast-growth, high-stakes organization — comparable to an early-stage hardware or deep-tech company scaling quickly
- Background in technology, hardware, robotics, manufacturing, or engineering-driven companies is a strong plus
- Genuine willingness to stay reachable outside standard hours, including weekends, when the business needs it
- A natural systems-builder who creates order out of ambiguity rather than waiting for direction
- Composure under pressure and comfort with constant change
- Sharp executive presence and communication skills
- Trustworthy, discreet, resourceful — and energized by being close to where big decisions get made
