Automotive Title Clerk Responsibilities Process vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork accurately and timely. Verify documentation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with DMV regulations. Maintain organized records of title, registration, and accounting transactions. Coordinate with sales, finance, and customers to obtain required documentation. Prepare, reconcile, and clean accounting schedules and supporting records. Calculate fees, process vehicle transfers, and handle repossession documentation. Respond to customer inquiries and support administrative office functions. Qualifications & Skills Experience as an Automotive Title Clerk, office administrator, or similar role. Knowledge of vehicle title, registration, and DMV processes. Ability to reconcile and maintain accounting schedules with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with dealership management systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting software. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
