Structures Engineering Manager - MS&B Executive Transport

Position Summary Structures Engineering Manager – MS&B Executive Transport Company. The Boeing Company will also be referred to as Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B). This role leads the Executive Transport Structures team and integrates work across Structures, Interiors & Payloads, Mechanical Systems, Wire Design & Installation, and Production Engineering. Portfolio includes VC25A, E-4B, C-32, C40, and Global Head of State programs. Key Responsibilities Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Mechanical & Structural Engineering and related domains. Collaborate with engineering managers and program managers to identify staffing needs and execute hiring strategies. Oversee cost, schedule, technical performance, and staffing of the engineering team. Provide development, mentoring, and growth opportunities for employees. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Motivate and manage the team to ensure high performance. Location & Work Environment This position is 100% on-site in Oklahoma City, OK. Requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post‑Start). Qualifications Basic Qualifications At least one year of experience in a leadership role or completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences). Minimum 8 years of engineering‑related experience. Minimum 3 years of experience leading engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of full‑time aerospace industry experience in Mechanical, Structural, Payloads, Design, or Analysis engineering. Experience with Boeing Common Non‑Recurring Product Development (C‑NRPD). Knowledge of Model Based Engineering. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). Relocation & Shift Relocation is offered on a case‑by‑case basis. The position is for 1st shift. Benefits & Compensation Pay range: $128,350 – 173,650.
