Litigation Secretary

Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a Litigation Secretary on behalf of an established commercial litigation law firm . This is a full-time, onsite opportunity based in Uniondale, NY , supporting attorneys in a dynamic, fast-paced litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, proofread, and compare commercial litigation documents and other legal materials
• Prepare documents for electronic court filing, including formatting, hyperlinking, tables of authority, and indexes
• Manage and organize PDF documents, including redaction and document production
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, spreadsheet management, and document comparison
• Assemble binders, exhibits, and other case-related materials
• Maintain electronic client files and document management systems
• Enter attorney time and assist with billing support
• Track court deadlines, maintain calendars, and support case management activities
• Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys while managing competing priorities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm environment
• Experience supporting commercial litigation matters
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF editing software
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

• $115,000-$130,000 + benefits.
