Business Development Manager

We're growing and looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team at Cooperative Plating.

This is a hunter role focused on developing new business, reactivating dormant accounts, and expanding our presence in Minnesota manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electronics, and industrial markets.

We are a well-established metal plating company with strong technical capabilities and a long history serving manufacturers throughout the region. The right candidate will be comfortable building relationships, visiting customer facilities, identifying opportunities, and turning prospects into long-term customers.

What we're looking for:

• Proven business development or industrial sales experience or experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, coatings, plating, aerospace, electronics, or related industries

• Self-motivated and proactive approach to prospecting

• Ability to build relationships with engineers, buyers, and manufacturing leaders

• Willingness to spend time in the field meeting customers and prospects

We are an ITAR facility, so all applicants need to be a US Citizen

What you'll do:

• Develop new customer relationships

• Reactivate dormant accounts

• Support growth in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets

• Work closely with our estimating and operations teams to convert opportunities into long-term business

Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.
