Pathology Assistant - New Grads Welcome –

Location: Birmingham, AL

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm

Education: Bachelor of Science or Masters Pathologists' Assistant program from an NCCLS accredited institution

Experience: 1 year of laboratory experience grossing all tissue types from simple to complex is preferred

Certification: Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists BOC

Skills: Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.

Pathologist Assistant –

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Relocation Assistance: $3k-$5k offered! Sign-On Bonus offered!

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences or related field

Program: Successful completion of an NAACLS-accredited pathologists' assistant program preferred.

Skills: Basic knowledge of human anatomy, macro-surgical techniques, and general laboratory skills.

Responsibilities: Demonstrated ability to obtain and prepare tissue for evaluation and to provide assistance to pathologists in a timely and quality manner.

Competence: High degree of technical competence and knowledge of histological techniques.

Senior Grossing Technician –

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences or related field

Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience

Skills: Basic knowledge of human anatomy, macro-surgical techniques, and general laboratory skills.

Responsibilities: Demonstrated ability to obtain and prepare tissue for evaluation and to provide assistance to pathologists in a timely and quality manner.

Technical Skills: Knowledge/ability to become knowledgeable in voice recognition software, internet and multiple-interfaced systems, various laboratory information systems, Excel, and MS Word or equivalent applications.

Competence: High degree of technical competence and knowledge of histological techniques.

Pathologist Assistant –

Location: Irvine, CA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 12:30pm-9pm

Bonus: Sign-On Bonus and Relocation offered.

Education: Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pathologist Assistant Studies. Preferred Education: Masters' Degree in Pathologist Assistant Studies.

Experience: Minimum Experience: 0-1 year of experience as a certified Pathologist Assistant in an anatomic pathology laboratory.

Certification: Req. Certification/Licensure: ASCP / AAPA Pathologist Assistant certification or must be ASCP/AAPA Pathologist Assistant certified within 6 months of hire date.

Pathologist Assistant –

Experience: Experience working in the Pathology Department of an acute care hospital or Pathology Lab

Certification: ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathology) Certified or certification-eligible as a Pathologist Assistant (PA)

Requirements: Certification-eligible candidates must pass the ASCP PA certification examination within 6 months of hire. Once achieved, ASCP PA Certification must be maintained as long as one works in this position.

Pathologist Assistant –

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Experience: 1-year surgical gross experience, including large, complex/complicated specimens

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required). Must be PA(ASCP) certified.

Fellowship: AAPA Fellowship status and/or PA (ASCP)(Required)

Schedule: Mon-Fri Day shift.

Education: Master's Degree in Pathologist Assistant (PA) from an accredited college or university, graduation from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program preferred, Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences

Certification: Pathologist assistant certification under ASCP

Experience: Five years of laboratory experience as pathology assistant
