Extru sion Operator – 2 nd Shift : Janesville, Wisconsin

Our customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is looking for ambitious individuals to join their team as an Extrusion Operator for 2nd shift. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production goals are met.

Responsibilities of the Extru sion Operator :

• Operate and maintain extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
• Set up and adjust machine settings according to product specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Extru sion Operator Requirements and Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read a metric ruler and micrometer.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and fix machines.
• Mold and die experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Pay for Extru sion Operator : $19.00-$25.00/hour
