Executive Compensation & Benefits Attorney

A top Vault ranked global law firm are currently seeking an Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Associate to join their award-winning Compensation and Benefits practice group. The position can sit in any of their four Californian office locations. Role Requirements A minimum of five years of law firm experience. Experience advising on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans, including ERISA compliance, plan design, administration, and related regulatory matters. Experience counseling on benefit plan issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Experience with drafting plan documents and disclosures, compliance testing, IRS and Department of Labor filings and audits, and correction matters is required. Experience with ESOP transactions and ERISA plan asset rules is a plus. Hold a relevant JD and be admitted to the Californian bar.
