Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This critical role is well-suited for professionals with a specialty in cardiac and emergency care. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on post-heart cath care and the treatment of complex patient diagnoses including cardiac dysrhythmias and respiratory failure.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Administer post-heart catheterization care and TR bands
• Monitor post-vascular procedures with frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor cardiac drips
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP for respiratory failure patients

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with IV start and maintenance, PICC line management
• Proficient in infection prevention and isolation precautions
