Payroll Specialist

Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area that's looking for a Payroll Specialist . This client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and has excellent organizational skills. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments. Review and verify timesheets, hours worked, overtime, deductions, and paid time off. Maintain payroll records, employee payroll data, tax information, and direct deposit details. Calculate wages, taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other payroll-related deductions. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee questions, and payment issues. Support payroll reporting, audits, compliance requirements, and month-end or year-end payroll activities. The Payroll Specialist will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2+ years of related Payroll experience. Strong Excel skills, including agings, reconciliations, imports, exports, and reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines, take initiative, and work professionally through change. Strong communication skills with the ability to work with employees, managers, and HR/accounting teams.
