Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address client needs.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Conduct follow-ups with medical professionals regarding clients admitted to the hospital to ensure continuity of care.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that hinder recovery, employing skills to adapt therapeutic approaches as needed.

• Provide support and training to family members and primary caregivers on managing mental behavioral challenges within the home.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, who are facing a spectrum of mental health issues. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your role will involve creating individualized treatment strategies to promote healing and personal growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A recognized Master's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid LMHC license in the state of Florida.

• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to effectively support clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with clients, and show empathy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
