The Commercial Lines Team Leader will provide high level support and mentorship to team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers in Denver, CO! The Team Leader maintains and strategizes business retention, and serves as representative of the team to Management, in partnership with the Department Manager. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion. How you'll make an impact Concentrate on day‑to‑day account management of complex and/or specialty/niche industry client accounts. Focus on building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs. Collaborate with management to develop, maintain, improve and implement goals and objectives across the Commercial Lines Department. Serve as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to Account Managers and Account Coordinators. Perform annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members. Resolve Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources. Have comprehensive oversight of all premium, claims and accounting responsibilities tied to the service of the Client. Establish and monitor best‑in‑class client service deliverables, processes and procedures to meet and exceed client expectations. Serve as senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 12 years experience. Property & Casualty License required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time. Preferred: Leadership and/or people management experience, directly or indirectly, strongly preferred. Professional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
