Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate group, family, couples, and individual therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. As an LPC at Norton, you will be instrumental in providing support to marginalized populations who may have historically struggled to access mental health services. You will tailor your approach to meet the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring that every individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to pursue their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Minimum two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
