Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions where young adults can openly discuss their challenges, share experiences, and build a supportive network.

• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored, empathetic one-on-one therapy that explores clients' thoughts and behaviors, helping them develop effective coping strategies and personalized action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate directly with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and responsive to their specific needs, preferences, and circumstances.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track clients' progress, ensuring that their treatment is effective and adjustments are made when necessary.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work in coordination with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. This includes regular communication, case consultations, and sharing insights for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and transitional life stressors. Your role will be pivotal in offering them a safe space to navigate these difficulties while promoting healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Currently licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
