Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for clients to identify their therapeutic goals, preferences, and available treatment options, enabling the development of customized rehabilitation strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into consideration each client's educational history, skill set, physical abilities, and career aspirations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to coordinate and enhance patient care effectively.

• Maintain accurate and thorough client records, ensuring documentation is complete for all services delivered, eligibility details, insurance information, and communication notes.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting achievements and necessary adjustments to ensure continued success in therapeutic goals.

• Communicate consistently with clients engaged in job training and occupational placements, promptly addressing any challenges that may arise during their journey.

• Engage family members and other support systems of clients to develop effective support strategies that enhance overall treatment success.

• Evaluate client needs and generate reports reflecting progress and areas for improvement, ensuring timely responses to client requirements.

• Facilitate referrals to community resources as needed, providing clients with access to essential services that can enhance their recovery experience.

This role primarily focuses on clients facing mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related concerns. You will work with a diverse client population that requires nuanced understanding and care. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients toward recovery and independence, helping them navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Experience providing mental health treatment, particularly with clients experiencing mood disorders and mental health conditions, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

• Strong teamwork orientation with a commitment to fostering positive changes in clients’ lives.
\n
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
