Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or environmental issues.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help manage visitor flow, confirm access authorization, and support a professional atmosphere within the location.
• Assist with de-escalation during tense interactions, provide directions and general assistance, and follow post orders for healthcare-related environments where conditions and activity levels may vary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
