Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a center-based Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program for high school students in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area (Greenville region) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role is ideal for educators experienced in autism support, structured classroom environments, and individualized instruction.

Position Overview:

• Full-time, school-based role for the 2026–2027 school year
• On-site position within a center-based ASD program
• Small caseload of approximately 3–6 students
• High school student population
• Located near the greater Grand Rapids metro area
• Structured and supportive classroom setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Implement behavioral and academic intervention strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and school staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Michigan guidelines
• Foster a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience working with ASD populations preferred
• Strong background in IEP development and implementation
• Ability to support students with behavioral and academic needs
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
