Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services or accounting preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in billing/invoicing required along with grant experience.

Starting Pay Range: $25-$27/hour plus bonus potential

Job Summary

The Grants Billing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various components of a grant lifecycle, including submitting billing for services provided and ensuring/tracking monthly, bi-annual, and annual reporting is completed and submitted to appropriate federal, state, and local agencies. This role supports grant reporting activities by gathering various supporting information required by federal, state, and local grants. The Grant Billing Coordinator helps to ensure quality and consistency in data collection and invoice reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reviews grant contracts and all associated scopes of work. Demonstrates understanding
  of state-specific requirements for all assigned grants.


• Develops and maintains relationship with state Grant Program Administrator – become a
  point of contact.


• Runs monthly eligibility checks on all enrolled grant patients at the beginning of each
  month working with program leadership to ensure accurate grant billing episodes are in
  the EHR.


• Partners with Operations and RCM on collection of grant revenue.


• Tracks and ensures all grants patients have an up-to-date GPRA in the EHR, partnering
  with program leadership to ensure completion.


• Tracks and ensures all grant patients have up-to-date financial assessments in the EHR,
  partnering with program leadership to ensure completion.


• Prepares and submits grant billing accurately and within required timeframes.


• Assures completion of all quality and outcome reporting as required by funding.


• Responsibility of monitoring funding between invoicing periods. Track grant performance
  and expenditure activity and perform analytics to inform program managers of available
  funding, spending, and reporting requirements.


• Performs all related duties as required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or accounting preferred.


• Working knowledge of grants work, including federal, state, and private grant guidelines
  preferred.


• Minimum of two years’ experience in billing/invoicing required.


• Payment processing and accounts receivable experience a plus.


• Experience with Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.


• Dedicated to the details and masterful at multi-tasking.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Effective at getting people on the same
  page.
