Laboratory IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory IT Support Engineer to support and maintain global laboratory systems, infrastructure, and informatics operations in a highly regulated scientific research environment. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Maintain and enhance laboratory IT systems for security, stability, and performance ✅ Provide proactive support for laboratory business and scientific users ✅ Manage incidents, requests, and problem tracking using ServiceNow ✅ Support data handling, archiving, integrity, and regulatory compliance initiatives ✅ Install and maintain laboratory-specific PCs, peripherals, network connections, and communication devices ✅ Support system imaging, monitoring, and firewall management ✅ Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives ✅ Maintain hardware, software, and network inventories ✅ Collaborate with global Regional Lab Support (RLS) teams and stakeholders ✅ Support Informatics Operations, Technical Operations, and Laboratory Informatics Systems. Required Skills & Experience: ✔️ Strong experience supporting laboratory IT environments ✔️ Knowledge of laboratory systems, infrastructure, and scientific applications ✔️ Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and ITSM processes ✔️ Understanding of cloud computing, storage, networking, and security standards ✔️ Experience with system monitoring, imaging, and firewall management ✔️ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and IT service ownership ✔️ Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills ✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred Background: ⭐ Experience supporting scientific research or pharmaceutical laboratory environments ⭐ Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data integrity, and laboratory informatics systems ⭐ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
