Personal Lines Producer

Responsible for soliciting, evaluating, and obtaining new insurance clients Follow up with customers to ensure appropriate supporting documentation has been obtained Determine niche markets from list of companies to determine best marketing strategy Quote the risk with multiple markets to determine best coverage and price Follow up with underwriter and customer through quoting process Log all activities of the sale in management system Maintain records, reports, and files as applicable Requote renewals when they renew over agency-set amount if requested by management Follow all corporate and agency level compliance Follow individual and corporate Strategic Plan along with management set goals Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5 years previous insurance experience preferred Current Insurance License in required lines Excellent organizational, time management & analytical skills Able to communicate and negotiate effectively High degree of dependability Able to effectively problem solve Ability to handle highly sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality of customers personal information Strong computer skills required such as Excel, Word, Adobe Maintain & foster positive relationships with customers and business partners Strong customer service skills Provide professional communication in both oral & written expression Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in soliciting and evaluating insurance clients while maintaining compliance with corporate standards.
