Responsibilities Manage the accounting for a portfolio of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and residential rental properties. Perform full-cycle accounting, including: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger entries Journal entries Bank reconciliations Monthly financial statement preparation Month-end closing Upload, review, code, and process vendor invoices. Coordinate with our third-party accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare monthly financial packages for HOA Boards of Directors and residential property owners. Reconcile operating, reserve, and trust accounts. Assist with budgets, reserve funding, and annual audit preparation. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry accounting standards. Support property managers, vendors, homeowners, and Board members with accounting-related inquiries. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with preference given to candidates experienced in: Homeowners Association (HOA) accounting Residential property management accounting Experience using property management accounting software is highly preferred, including: CINC Systems (HOA Accounting) Rentvine (Residential Property Management) QuickBooks Candidates without direct experience in CINC Systems or Rentvine are encouraged to apply if they possess strong accounting fundamentals and are willing to learn new software platforms quickly. Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
