Customer Service Administrator 2

Job Overview As a Customer Service Administrator 2, you will be responsible for intermediate‑level clerical duties that assist in the operational function of the Service Center. Perform a variety of functions that may include a specialization or combination of activities in areas such as Customer Service, appointments, dispatch support, Payroll, Human Resources, or general secretarial. Responsibilities Respond to calls or contact customers regarding shipment status, billing questions, CODs, driver collect, tracing, problems, and rating information. Research and answer internal customer or other Service Center requests for information. Call and schedule delivery appointments, and assist drivers with pick‑up or delivery problems. Calculate hours worked and linehaul miles, compile driver hours of service, and complete driver log summaries. Assist with generating manifests and closing loads, and enter closed, dispatched, and arrived loads into the computer. Provide clerical support to Service Center Account Managers, Account Executives, and Senior Account Executives. Make follow‑up calls to customers as requested and maintain the sales appointment schedule and lead list. Key pay data into the payroll system. Assist the Service Center Manager with recruiting efforts—including coordinating advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews—and coordinate new hire orientation. Assist with Service Center training efforts by scheduling classes or ordering supplies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Ability to satisfactorily pass a background check and alcohol and drug test. Six months of related or previous office experience. Strong customer relations skills for effective communication with internal and external customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions. Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred experience with Customer Service, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and multi‑line phone systems. Compensation & Shift Pay: $21.55–$26.51 per hour. Work Shift: Second Shift.
