Work Environment

This position is onsite, offering a dynamic work environment where collaboration and teamwork are essential. You will be working in a vibrant outpatient office, where you will have the opportunity to interact directly with patients in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Our physical therapy team comprises two seasoned physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the patients' physical conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Administer therapeutic treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Maintain a patient caseload of approximately one patient per hour to ensure focused, individualized care.
• Utilize appropriate manual therapy techniques and modalities to promote effective rehabilitation.
• Design and recommend customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific goals and conditions of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimal results.
• Document patient interactions meticulously to maintain accurate patient records in compliance with practice standards.
• Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive outlook towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adult patients dealing with a range of orthopedic issues, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. We aim to improve the quality of life for each patient by focusing on functional independence and overall physical fitness. Our approach emphasizes preventative care and education, ensuring that patients understand their conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in sports medicine or post-operative rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 130,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
