Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll work itinerantly across multiple districts, collaborating closely with school teams, parents, and staff to implement sustainable, data-driven behavioral strategies.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Valid Kansas State Teaching License with the appropriate endorsement
• Expertise conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• School-based behavior specialist, BCBA, or related background strongly preferred
• Experience collaborating on behavior coaching, developing staff trainings, and supporting crisis intervention
• Knowledgeable in research-based practices for behavior management
• Background in school psychology, social work, or school counseling is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver behavioral support services to K-12 students across multiple districts
• Design, implement, and monitor effective interventions based on student data
• Engage in collaboration with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Conduct FBAs and develop or maintain BIPs to support student growth
• Offer direct coaching, consultation, and training to educational staff
• Respond to behavioral crises and support crisis management planning
• Regularly document progress and adjust interventions as needed for ongoing improvement
