Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs, mental health conditions, and social factors impacting their well-being.

• Develop tailored treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions designed for individual client situations.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions via video calls, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.

• Provide clients and their families with educational resources and coping strategies to foster resilience and empowerment.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to the client’s care.

• Continuously stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve supporting a diverse client base. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related challenges, and more. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each client, you will play a critical role in their journey toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• A valid and active New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for enhancing the mental well-being of others.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with more extensive backgrounds in various therapeutic modalities or specialized areas of mental health treatment will be favored. Experience with telehealth practices and tools is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
