Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production, warehouse, and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, loading docks, trailers, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, visitor records, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
