You'll be the technical backbone of our sales organization in the region - partnering directly with Account Executives to run discovery, deliver technical demonstrations, design proof-of-concept engagements, and translate complex security and AI concepts into clear business value for CISOs and security leaders.What You'll DoOwn technical win strategy for East region opportunities, from discovery through proof-of-concept to closeDesign and run POCs/pilots that prove out 7AI's agentic security capabilities in customer environmentsServe as the technical voice of the customer, feeding field insights back to Product and EngineeringRecruit, hire, and develop a team of Sales Engineers as the East region scalesBuild repeatable technical sales methodology, demo environments, and POC frameworks for the regionRepresent 7AI at industry events, customer briefings, and analyst conversationsPartner closely with Sales leadership on territory strategy and account planningWhat We're Looking For8+ years in sales engineering or solutions architecture, with a track record of success in cybersecurity, SOC/SIEM, or security operations technology3+ years of experience leading or building a sales engineering teamDeep technical fluency in security operations - detection engineering, threat investigation, SOAR/SIEM platforms, or AI/ML-driven security toolingProven ability to sell to and influence CISOs, security architects, and SOC leadershipComfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment, building process where none exists yetExcellent communicator - able to move fluidly between whiteboard technical depth and executive-level business narrativeBased in or willing to be based in the Eastern time zone, with regular travel across the region
