This position primarily involves onsite work within various clinics focused on home care across the Reno region. As a float therapist, you will adapt to different clinic protocols and work collaboratively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services, ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction across varying environments.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and execute therapeutic interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the clinics to ensure cohesive patient care, managing transitions smoothly during times of staff absence or increased patient load.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, self-management strategies, and preventive measures for injury and pain.
• Documentation is critical; maintain detailed and timely records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support and mentor less-experienced staff through guidance during therapy sessions and sharing best practices.
• Travel to various clinic locations as needed, which could involve multiple sites in a single day, and ensure your service delivery meets the clinics' operational standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Nevada, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills.
• Flexibility to navigate various clinical environments effectively and efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative in dealing with diverse clinical situations.
