Job Title: Assistant Project Manager – Luxury Residential Construction
Location: Southampton, NY
We are an established and growing construction firm specializing in luxury residential projects. Looking for an Entry Level, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional projects.
In this role, you will support senior project management across all phases of construction, with a strong focus on document control, subcontractor coordination, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute bid packages and maintain accurate tracking logs.
• Obtain insurance certificates from subcontractors.
• Manage and maintain Submittal, RFI, and Drawing logs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Keep all project drawings and documents current and properly organized.
• Attend project meetings, prepare detailed meeting minutes, and distribute them promptly.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, architects, and owners using strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Support the project team in resolving issues and keeping projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to think analytically and solve problems proactively.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment, listen actively, and follow direction while showing initiative.
• Proficiency in processing project information quickly and accurately.
• Experience with luxury residential construction is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
