The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity forfull-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant tojoin our growing Psychiatry team. The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri isdedicated to the treatment of patients, education of learners andresearch into mental illness. The department provides a full arrayof services including inpatient care at the University of MissouriPsychiatric Hospital (MUPC), 24/7 emergency and hospitalconsultative services and outpatient adult and child clinics. This position will hold a title of Nurse Practitioner SpecialtyCare II or Physician Assistant Specialty Care II. Shift Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing degree. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-stateRN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs mustapply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Boardof Nursing. Preferred Qualifications Education: Graduation from a certified NP/PA program andNurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensure in the state ofMissouri Credentials: AP/MHNP, F/MHNP, CAQ-Psychiatry, PA-C, strongbackground in mental/behavioral health.
