Russell Tobin’s client is seeking a Loan Operations Associate to support the FID Secured Lending team. This role works with deal teams and internal partners to support new loan facilities, amendments, renewals, and funding events from initial intake through closing.

\n

Loan Operations Associate – FID Secured Lending

\n

Pay Rate: $23-$24/hour

\n

Contract: 12 Months, Temp-to-Perm

\n

Schedule: Hybrid

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage loan transaction pipelines, deadlines, milestones, and outstanding items.
\n
• Review and validate loan documentation, including credit agreements, fee letters, borrowing notices, and closing checklists.
\n
• Support loan setup, booking, and funding , including borrower, lender, pricing, fee, and settlement information.
\n
• Coordinate with Credit, Legal, KYC/AML, Treasury, Controllers, and Operations teams.
\n
• Monitor closing and funding activity, resolve exceptions, and escalate issues when needed.
\n
• Perform post-closing reviews to ensure loan terms, balances, fees, and cash flows are accurate.
\n
• Maintain documentation, reconciliations, checklists, and audit-ready records.
\n
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
\n
• Experience in loan operations, lending operations, transaction management, middle office, or financial services .
\n
• Understanding of the loan lifecycle, including setup, amendments, funding, settlement, and servicing.
\n
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
\n

Preferred: Hands-on Loan IQ experience and exposure to secured lending, syndicated/bilateral loans, subscription finance, direct lending, or other lending products.
