About the Role Imagine having a job where you get to help the homeless, feed hungry families, save animals and help children get vital medical services—all without leaving your desk. At Gateway Communications, we use the telephone to personally connect with donors of various charitable organizations across the United States. As a Charitable Fundraising Associate, you will be trained to represent these non-profits and to share an enthusiastic message with their supporters while also raising needed funds. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS No ‘Cold Calling’ —we only reach out to people who have donated financially prior. Pay is per hour, not performance or commission-based. We have a high level of team spirit and a positive, drama-free workplace. We do not work any major holidays. Scripting is flexible—we want you to infuse your style and personality into your conversations. We have an excellent training program that meets a variety of different learning styles. Compensation Starting pay for Full Time is increasing to $18/hr, effective April 1st. If you've started prior to that date, you would be under our existing rate of $16/hr until April 1st. FULL-TIME = $18 - $20 Hourly. PART-TIME = $16 Hourly. Benefits Retirement, Paid-Time Off, Dental, Medical, Vision. Scheduling & Hours Full-Time — Your choice of schedules because what works for your life matters to us: Schedule 1 FULL TIME: M-F AM 10:00–18:30 plus Tue–Fri 9:00–17:30 Schedule 2 FULL TIME: M-F PM 10:00–18:30 plus Tue–Fri 10:30–19:00 Schedule 3 FULL TIME: Tue–Sat AM 9:00–5:30 Tue–Fri 9:00–5:30 and Sat 9:00–5:30 Schedule 4 FULL TIME: Tue–Sat PM 10:30–19:00 plus Sat 9:00–5:30 Schedule 5 FULL TIME: Tue-Fri 9:00–19:00 (10 hour shifts) with 3 days off Part-Time — Flexible based on needs. Most part-time folks work 6-hour shifts 9:00–15:00. Perfect for supplementing income after retirement or SSDI. Part-time is 24–38 hours. Candidate Profile A positive attitude. Good communication skills. Basic computer experience. Passion for helping those in need. Past customer service, sales, or general call center experience (preferred, but not required). A desire for non-seasonal, permanent employment with a growing company. Ability to work with coaching staff to develop in the job. Ability to work a consistent schedule and be a reliable team member.
