Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As part of our outpatient office team, you will engage in virtual therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients in a meaningful way. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the specific goals, preferences, and needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients, helping to remove barriers related to mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing various mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base also includes individuals facing significant life challenges, such as homelessness, domestic violence, and refugee experiences. Your work will contribute to the development of resilience and emotional stability in those who may feel overwhelmed by their circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
