Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations alongside the supervising physical therapist to gauge patients' abilities and limitations, aiding in the development of tailored therapy plans.

• Deliver hands-on assistance to patients through various physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and activities of daily living, ensuring an empathetic and supportive approach.

• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, observing their response to treatments and relaying critical information to the supervising physical therapist for ongoing assessment.

• Engage in active communication with the healthcare team, sharing insights and observations that facilitate modifications in treatment plans to better meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited program is mandatory.

• An unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in Florida is essential.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required, reflecting your capacity to operate within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance tailored for full-time employees.
