As an onsite team member, you will work within our rehabilitation center, which is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technology to support patient care. The environment promotes teamwork and collaboration, allowing PTAs to work hand in hand with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the development and execution of customized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and specific activities designed to relieve pain and enhance physical well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens conducive to recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, while ensuring appropriate supervision by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and record patient progress meticulously, tracking range of motion improvements, strength gains, and functional capabilities to document treatment efficacy.
• Prepare and maintain treatment spaces, ensuring that all equipment is organized, sanitized, and ready for use during therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care, ensuring coordinated treatment efforts and optimal patient progress.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding each patient's rights and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve a diverse range of patient demographics, including children, elderly individuals, athletes recovering from injuries, and others requiring rehabilitation after surgical procedures. Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Exceptional proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and utilizing modalities under Physical Therapist supervision.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or hospital environment.
• Experience working with a range of patient populations, particularly in providing hands-on support during rehabilitation therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
