Mid-level Proposal Integrator (Vertical Lift Training)

Mid-level Proposal Integrator (Vertical Lift Training) Company: The Boeing Company, Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-Level Proposal Integrator to become part of the Vertical Lift Training team located in Hazelwood, MO. The Vertical Lift Training team is responsible for pulling together the proposal inputs from the Training Systems teams that design, develop, manufacture, and maintain training devices and courseware for a wide variety of helicopters. The successful candidate will have skills and experience in leading the activities of proposal development; will be able to leverage existing technologies, resolve cross‑functional issues, and support projects from RFP to Baseline. Extensive familiarity with leading proposal development with Training Systems engineering teams is preferred. The position involves frequent interaction with customer partners and suppliers and may require occasional travel to installation sites, suppliers, and other Boeing facilities. Position Responsibilities Lead the proposal development including the development and documentation of a planned technical approach. Decompose Statement of Work (SOW) to determine capability impact. Analyze customer request/change requests/customer issues and develop estimates, determine risks and alternative solutions. Document Engineering Basis of Estimate, Trade Studies, Request for Information (RFI) and Bill of Material (BOM’s) if required. Identify and cultivate process improvements in the engineering proposal process, integration procedures and system design. Lead Executability reviews for proposal activities. Participate in Customer and Supplier negotiations. Develop and maintain relationships & partnerships with the entire team, including capability teams, program management, leadership team, and customers. Serve as primary Engineering point of contact for proposal activities. Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving. Demonstrate Boeing behaviors in a deliberate and observable way. May be requested to support other programs or perform other duties as assigned. Take ownership of work activities to ensure completion accurately and efficiently. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. 3+ years of related work experience. Experience collaborating within an engineering team in an on‑site work environment. Experience working with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience with Engineering proposal generation. Experience with project management, planning and cost estimating.
