This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility located in Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans focusing on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving functional abilities.
• Direct physical therapy interventions which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing treatment plans effectively, ensuring quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to assess patient progress, modify treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient function and adjustments to treatment plans based on the patient's evolving needs and conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide updates and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy techniques and research.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss comprehensive care strategies for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Wellstar Physiotherapy, you will work with a diverse patient population that may include individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and older adults requiring rehabilitation after falls or strokes. The goal is to support patients through their recovery journey, ensuring they achieve their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Currently holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of manual therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for thorough documentation.
• Exhibits a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with current physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or out-patient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with creating and implementing rehabilitation protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Prior experience in working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
