Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement tailored therapeutic interventions, including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional training.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and care plans, ensuring they understand their role in the recovery process.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes based on individual recovery timelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and address all aspects of patient rehabilitation.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, massage, and stretching to enhance patients' recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients, emphasizing individualized care that enhances their recovery journey and promotes lifelong wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active State Physical Therapy License to practice in Florida.
• At least 1 year of direct experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities, with the ability to track and evaluate patient progress effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge in the specialty area.
• Experience using outcome measurement tools to evaluate therapy effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

Build Up Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
