Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish a clear understanding of their specific conditions and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational components designed to promote patient engagement in their recovery.
• Provide in-depth instruction on at-home exercises and self-care techniques to empower patients and their families in maintaining progress between therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are considered.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and alterations to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will predominantly treat patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, joint replacements, and other orthopedic conditions. You will also cater to a diverse population ranging from post-operative patients to those with chronic pain conditions, ensuring that your treatment plans are adaptive to each individual's unique needs. Your goal will be to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function, significantly impacting the lives of our patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting, which may include internships and residencies.
• In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, conditions, and injury prevention strategies.
• Strong hands-on skills and proficiency in manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing patient-centered treatment plans and knowledge of therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
