Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including detailed medical history assessments, functional movement analysis, and objective testing to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment strategies with patients and their families, ensuring transparency and engagement in goal-setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that accommodate individual patient needs, aligning with the latest healthcare guidelines and innovative practices.
• Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving health status, and documenting all care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, recognizing when further medical consultations are warranted based on changes in a patient's condition.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care and optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain effective time management, adhere to productivity goals, and uphold an organized work schedule, contributing to the clinic's overall efficiency.

• Take an active role in departmental goal development, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Every treatment plan will cater to unique patient needs, emphasizing a hands-on approach to rehabilitation that encourages patient involvement and self-management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active state physical therapy license as required for practice in Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
