Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, focusing on their orthopedic injuries and surgical recoveries.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation equipment.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, responding to their needs with adjustments to treatment strategies as required.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families regarding therapeutic techniques and assistive devices to promote independence in self-care and mobility.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary medical teams to provide cohesive and coordinated care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and networking opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors regaining mobility post-surgery. Our focus on orthopedic rehabilitation means you will develop specialized modalities to restore functional movement and alleviate pain effectively.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and teamwork.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to handling patient care challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience with specific orthopedic rehabilitation techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
