Position Overview

Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team full-time in Orlando, Florida. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility, designed to foster an innovative and collaborative atmosphere among our healthcare professionals. You will be part of a close-knit team comprised of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. The team environment encourages collaboration and communication, ensuring that each therapist's approach can complement one another for holistic patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, needs, and concerns before developing individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on delivering effective one-on-one treatment sessions, averaging one patient per hour, to maximize patient engagement and outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches and best practices to implement various therapeutic interventions that improve mobility, flexibility, and overall anesthesia.
• Educate patients on treatments aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing physical performance, thus reducing dependence on medication and invasive procedures.
• Design and oversee tailored wellness and fitness programs that empower patients to take control of their health journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring clear communication with both patients and multidisciplinary team members.
• Promote a positive rehabilitation experience by motivating patients to adhere to their treatment plans and embrace healthier lifestyle choices.
• Regularly collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a comprehensive care approach, enhancing the overall treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus primarily centers around patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, but we also serve individuals for rehabilitation following sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-operative recovery from musculoskeletal issues. Our therapists are equipped to handle a diverse range of ages and capabilities, with a commitment to providing tailored care that addresses the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
• Professional integrity with no history of disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques paired with the ability to construct and implement diverse exercise regimens for varied patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working as a Physical Therapist within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Demonstrated experience in developing holistic treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies that yield measurable patient improvements.
• Ability and experience in managing diverse caseloads across various injury types demonstrates versatility and adaptability.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with patients, motivating them to reach their personal goals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
