Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time

Work Environment

This role is performed in an onsite outpatient office, where you'll work in a fully equipped facility designed for patient comfort and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility and function, relieving pain, and preventing disability, in accordance with physician directives.
• Oversee the efficacy of treatment provided by Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to prescribed plans of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical function through diagnostic assessments including muscle, nerve, and joint tests to accurately determine their physical capabilities.
• Assess patients' home environments, recommending modifications to promote independence and accessibility during their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation modalities as dictated by patient needs, while continuously evaluating their progress.
• Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to facilitate seamless communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in case conferences to discuss and refine treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
• Guide and educate patients and their families on evidence-based practices for managing their conditions and using therapeutic devices effectively.
• Ensure timely completion of clinical, administrative documentation, and payroll submissions as per company policies.
• Engage in supervisory responsibilities as required by state regulations, including providing professional insights to Physical Therapy Assistants.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are often dealing with post-operative recoveries, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages, allowing you to apply a broad range of treatment approaches tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Active CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred to enhance clinical documentation efficiency.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
