Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in the scenic city of Orlando, Florida. Our clinic is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for rehabilitation. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and needs to create personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their specific goals.
• Implement effective therapy techniques that improve patients' motion and mobility, focusing on reducing dependency on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement holistic care plans encompassing various treatment modalities.
• Design and oversee fitness and wellness programs specifically tailored to meet individual patient requirements, facilitating proactive health management.
• Provide high-quality, personalized care by utilizing proven interventions that support recovery and functional improvement.
• Foster a healthy lifestyle by incorporating strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises into patient treatment regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients grappling with orthopedic injuries and ailments. You will work with a diverse client base, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and older adults seeking to enhance their mobility and quality of life. Your ability to connect with patients and tailor interventions to their unique needs is essential in fostering positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is preferred.
• Must possess an active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic care.
• Adept at using contemporary treatment techniques and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing strong rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, specifically dealing with orthopedic conditions. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, exercise therapy, and patient education strategies is highly desirable. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
