Located in the sunny city of Orlando, Florida, our rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge technology and therapy resources. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working together to create an encouraging and dynamic workplace. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address the individual goals and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a structured patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, to facilitate focused and personalized treatment.
• Maintain expertise in orthopedic physical therapy practices, utilizing a wide array of treatment modalities.
• Design and implement cost-effective therapeutic programs aimed at improving range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Proactively seek alternatives to medication and invasive procedures, promoting natural healing methods and rehabilitation.
• Develop comprehensive and tailored care plans that integrate diverse therapeutic techniques suited to each patient.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing positive lifestyle changes.
• Encourage strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted exercise and wellness programs.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Evaluate and document treatment outcomes meticulously, tracking patient progress and modifying care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The majority of our clients consist of individuals with private medical insurance, typically addressing orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our therapists work with a diverse population, from young athletes to elderly patients recovering from joint replacement surgeries. Tailoring treatment plans to the unique characteristics of each patient is an essential aspect of our practice, as we aim to optimize each individual's recovery and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Florida physical therapy license, maintained in good standing without disciplinary actions.
• Profound knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop effective exercise protocols.
• Strong proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes in an outpatient therapy environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting, demonstrating excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
