Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our spacious 5,000 square foot rehabilitation facility located in Orlando, Florida. You will work alongside two dedicated physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to providing outstanding patient care and fostering a positive work environment. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish clear goals for treatment.
• Manage a manageable caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Implement treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, focusing on non-surgical options and fostering independence.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's lifestyle and health objectives.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care services while using WebPT EMR software for streamlined record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic conditions, working closely with patients dealing with sports injuries, post-surgery recovery, and chronic pain management. Given the practice's commitment to individualized care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients as they work towards their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a keen understanding of orthopedic evaluations and interventions.
• Proficiency in developing tailored exercise protocols that address varied patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing a solid background in treating related conditions.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is advantageous, supporting efficient patient management.
• A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in current treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
