Truck Shop Equipment Diagnostics MechanicAre you the go-to pro for diesel systems, hydraulics, and precision diagnostics?If you thrive on solving complex mechanical problems and backing your work with rigorous testing, Clean Harbors Deer Park wants you on our safety-first team.What You’ll TackleOwn safety: follow safe work practices and make Health & Safety your top priority.Diagnose, repair, and reassemble heavy industrial and mobile equipment with confidence.Validate every repair by testing equipment to manufacturer specifications.Leverage computer instrumentation to troubleshoot and complete work orders.Pitch in with additional duties as assigned.What We’re Looking ForHigh School Diploma or equivalentPassing Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test3+ years’ plant experience in heavy industrial/mobile equipment maintenance and repairHydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair expertiseAbility to read schematics and diagnose plant mechanical systemsCaterpillar & Kubota engine experience/certifications/education (preferred)Cutting torch (propylene) experience for metal cutting/demolitionVehicle/mobile A/C service experienceAir Conditioning Certification or equivalent experienceDiesel Repair Certification or equivalent experienceCapability to lift, bend, climb, handle tools; lift up to 50 lbsValid driver’s licenseUnion Details, Schedule, and CompensationThis position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
