Commercial Account Executive

Job Description McShea Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced, licensed Commercial Account Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial insurance, takes ownership of their work, and can independently manage client needs from coverage review as well as work collaboratively with other coworkers and quoting through ongoing account service. You’ll work with a diverse range of businesses, including contractors, construction companies, restaurants, landscapers, professional offices, and many other local businesses. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Parental Leave Disability Insurance Vision Insurance Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Responsibilities Manage and service an existing book of commercial insurance clients Review policies and identify coverage gaps or changing client needs Quote, shop, and re-market commercial accounts with multiple carriers Recommend appropriate coverage options and explain them clearly to clients Process endorsements, policy changes, certificates of insurance (COIs), cancellations, and other service requests Handle renewals proactively and address premium or coverage changes Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and underwriters Gather underwriting information and submit complete, accurate applications Manage multiple priorities and follow through on client requests Provide responsive, detail-oriented customer service Identify cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities when appropriate Requirements Active Property & Casualty insurance license Commercial insurance experience required Experience quoting and remarketing commercial accounts Comfortable working with carrier portals and communicating with underwriters Experience processing endorsements and issuing COIs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand a client’s desired outcome and independently determine the appropriate next steps Resourceful, motivated, and comfortable problem-solving without constant direction Team-oriented with a strong commitment to client service Ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced independent agency environment #J-18808-Ljbffr The Juris Agency
