Personal Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Dennis Port team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients- helping them protect what matters most through proactive service, thoughtful guidance, and strong relationship management. As an integral member of our Personal Lines team, the Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients, providing day-to-day service, coverage guidance, and risk management support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a team-based environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Manage the day-to-day service needs of a Personal Lines client portfolio Advise clients on appropriate insurance coverages, policy changes, and risk reduction strategies Proactively identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions aligned with client needs Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members Market accounts and work closely with carrier partners to secure competitive coverage options Ensure accurate and timely data entry, policy processing, and documentation within agency systems Respond promptly to client inquiries, policy changes, renewals, and claims support needs Support retention efforts through consistent communication and high-quality service Contribute to team goals and support the agency’s mission, values, and strategic initiatives WHAT YOU BRING: 2+ years of experience in Personal Lines insurance (agency experience preferred) Active Property & Casualty license Strong knowledge of Personal Lines coverages (home, auto, umbrella, etc.) Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with agency management systems and standard business tools Familiarity with Applied Epic preferred WHY DELAND, GIBSON We're early adopters of new technology and AI-driven tools, but we're also the agency where a real person picks up the phone when a client calls- we believe both matter.
